Philanthropy

At The Chive, Simply Good, Café/Market we want to give back to our community and customers.

These are the areas of philanthropy that are our focus:

Education-educational programs, scholarships, teachers, etc.

Food and Health-gardens, promoting positive health, healthy eating, etc.

Nature and Sustainability – gardens, environment, nature, recycling, etc.

The Arts- youth and adult, making arts accessible to all, etc.

The Chive will hold quarterly fundraisers on Saturdays.  A not for profit organization in one of the above categories can make an email request to be considered for one of these fundraisers.  Let us know about your organization and specifically how this fundraiser will help you.   thechivesimplygood@gmail.com

The organization must –

Provide a 501©3 document

During the fundraiser, have representatives on site to educate the public about the organization 2 people for four hours

Promote your event using The Chive, Simply Good Café/Market name and location to your community and database

Post your event on your social media platforms

The organization receives-

10 % of sales for the date of the fundraiser, excluding tips

The Chive will post event on location, website, social media and in an email newsletter

The Chive will supply a postcard that can be detailed with your information and date of your fundraiser.  These can be handed out to your community and supporters.You may have a donation jar at your table.

Because of our sustainability emphasis, no handouts or give aways are allowed.  Face to face interaction is “green” and effective.  You may have a sign up sheet at your table.

Post card says

“Come support ______________________ at The Chive, Simply Good Café/Market!

10% of your purchase that day will be donated to _____________________ by The Chive Café/Market.
